TradSoc NUIG host many weekly and once off events, both on and off campus. Everyone is more than welcome to come along and join us at our events. Even if you don't play or sing, listeners and music lovers are always welcome, no matter their skill level.

Weekly Session

We meet up every Tuesday from 21.30 'till late at The Crane Bar, Sea Rd. (Map below). Everyone is welcome to come to play a few tunes or sing a few songs. Listeners are always welcome too!!

Singing Session

Singers of all (singing) backgrounds are welcome to come along and learn some traditional songs every Wednesday from 6-7pm in the Meeting Room 1 (upstairs in Áras na Mac Léínn) - see weekly emails for details!

Teach a Tune

Come along and learn a new tune or two from fellow Tradsoc members every Wednesday during term from 7-8pm in the Meeting Room 2 (upstairs in Áras na Mac Léínn) - see weekly emails for details! Google docs page with the planned tune for each week:

Glasgow Trip

A group of TradSoc members will be travelling to Glasgow for the Celtic Connections Festival from the 26th to the 28th of January! Plenty of singing and some tunes too so there's bound to be great craic! We had a great time last year, and we're hoping to #maketunesGREATERagain.
